The strength of concrete is measured in Newtons per square millimetre. It is designated the letter "N".

Typical mixes used on a farm are 30N and 35N.

A 35N mix generally costs €2 to €5 more expensive than the 30N mix, however it is money will spent as the 35N mix is over 10% stronger than the 30N mix

A 35N mix should always be used for Constructing a Silage Slab, and consideration should be given to using GGBS cement in the mix.
