Heat Detection

When using Artificial Insemination accurate heat detection is vital for getting cows back in a calf as soon as possible once the breeding season commences.
There are different ways of picking up cows in heat including:
- Vasectomised Bull with a chin ball marker
- Tail Paint
- Scratch Cards
- Heat Detection Systems
These methods should be combined with observation of cows a few times a day.
